Benjamin Rush Award
We just have learned that Peggy Dolan and the Fund are recipients of the 2010 Benjamin Rush Award. The award is given by the Philadelphia Psychiatric Society each year to a nonmedical professional who has advanced the cause of mental health.
The Philadelphia Psychiatric Society comprises more than 950 psychiatrists practicing in Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Montgomery, and Delaware Counties. Its staff and membership are dedicated to assisting its members and working on behalf of their interests and those of the patients they serve. PPS is a chapter of the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Society, a district branch of the American Psychiatric Association.
The award will be presented during a reception at Germantown Cricket Club on November 6, 2010.
