Wine in Winter 2010

The third annual Wine in Winter event was held on Friday, February 5, 2010, at Normandy Farm and Conference Center.

A sellout crowd of more than 500 people sampled wines, spirits, and premium beers, along with a delicious assortment of foods from more than 30 participating restaurants.

Raffles were held for a 32-inch screen television, an "instant wine cellar" with $500 worth of wine bottles and accessories, and a package of $600 in gift certificates to 14 local restaurants.

A silent auction included gift certificates, books, DVD packages, framed artwork, gift baskets, signed sports memorabilia and workout equipment, among many other items. A stay at a vacation home in Nags Head, NC, tickets to a Phillies game, and a luxury box at a Villanova basketball game were among the most bid-upon items.

The event raised more than $42,000 for the Fund. Our sincerest thanks go to all the people who braved the snow to attend the event!
